We will start each day with circle time and Welcome Back. We will work through the daily calendar and schedule. The Calendar will feature the month, days, and weather. Also highlighted we will be the letter of the week, song, color, shape, number, and sign language symbol.
The schedule below is an approximate daily time schedule. It will vary slightly from a day-to-day based on the needs of the ages of children in the program.
- Open-8:30: Children arrive, breakfast, clean up and as children finish breakfast they can do individual activities or play room
- 8:30-9:15: Group routine- Calender, weather, sharing weekly focused characters (letter, number, shape, color, wtc) talk about today's plan and skill building activities
- 9:15-10:00: Group activity, singing, read-aloud book and art/craft projects
- 10:00-10:15: Snack Time
- 10:15-11:35: Large motor skill activities, group play (outside or inside)
- 11:35-12:15: Lunch prep, Lunch and clean up
- 12:15-2:15: Rest time and/or quiet time
- 2:15-3:00: Activity-group and individual building & coloring activities
- 3:00-3:15: Snack Time
- 3:00-4:15: Group play (outside or inside weather permitting)
- 4:15-close: Clean up and quiet activities (blocks, puzzles, books, etc.)
